A church building was built on the Kash-Powers Corner
Dr. James DeMoss was the minister

Dedicated May 24 by Sumner T. Martin, oversubscribed $100.00
Sumner T. Martin conducted a revival and wrote an article about the church in the Christian Standard
Dr. DeMoss became an ordained minister and served as pastor
A Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor was organized with 25 charter members with Dr. DeMoss as President.
